LISA KRZYZEWSKI

Founder
From a young age, Lisa was plagued with chronic health issues. As a child she spent many a night in hospital and unfortunately, these health problems followed her into adulthood. While doctors were able to diminish many of the symptoms of her illnesses with medications, they offered no substantive “cure”. Frustrated with the limitations of the conventional healthcare system, Lisa began her own quest for health solutions. Through years of extensive research and personal experimentation she has managed to dramatically improve her health and discontinue her life-long reliance on pharmaceuticals. Happily, Lisa now lives a joyful, adventurous, and high-performance life.

Lisa’s success in self-healing has fueled a passion to help others become the healthiest versions of themselves and is what led her to create Aeon Future Health. Located in Calgary, Aeon is a health optimization and longevity facility and the first of its kind in Canada. Moving away from a successful career in the energy sector, Lisa and her team of health professionals and coaches spend their time helping others take control of their own health using the very latest in science.

Dr. Jonathan Bastian, MD

Medical Director
As a Calgary-based physician, Dr. Jonathan Bastian has dedicated his career to applying the most current research to his practice to improve the health span and longevity (or lifespan) of his patients both in hospital and emergency settings. He joins Aeon as the Medical Director and resident Medical Doctor, bringing extensive experience in patient care and a focus on longevity, metabolic health, and hormone therapy. Dr. Bastian is an active member of the Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and earned certification in men’s health and hormone replacement. 

Having worked previously in palliative care, as well as his ongoing role as an urgent care doctor at Sheldon Chumir reminds him that the best defense for combating disease is to avoid getting sick in the first place. This is done through comprehensive pro-active prevention and early intervention. Dr. Bastian’s practice at Aeon focuses on applying emerging science in the realms of exercise & sleep physiology, nutritional interventions, hormonal balance, and pharmacology to improve his patient’s lifespan & healthspan.

Susan Aldcorn

Director of Operations
Susan is a former Registered Nurse turned experienced Director of Operations.   Working in a variety of clinical settings, Susan found her passion in leading multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of exceptional client service and healthy outcomes. Over the last 20 years, she has developed an expertise in clinical and business operations while maintaining her passion for supporting others in living healthy and active lives.
Susan is an avid golfer, enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Ashleigh Lane, ND

Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Ashleigh Lane is a Naturopathic Physician. Over the last 10 years she has developed a deep passion for supporting the health and wellness of women through all phases of their lives. She saw major gaps in the treatment of women’s health concerns, which drove her to expand her knowledge in order to help women look, feel, and perform at their best. At Aeon, Ashleigh helps women thrive through perimenopause and beyond with the latest in longevity and optimization therapies. She also leverages her training in preventative medicine to as part of Aeon’s medical team in the treatment of all our patients.
Dr. Lane was trained in British Columbia at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia and the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta. Dr. Lane maintains prescriptive authority in the province of BC. She also has additional expertise in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Melissa Fougere, ND

Naturopathic Doctor
Dr. Mel obtained a double major in chemistry and psychology with honors before completing a masters in medical neuroscience and ultimately completing a naturopathic medical degree at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver BC.

Dr. Mel has a special interest in neuroendoimmunology – how your brain, your hormones and your digestive/immune system interact. She brings this focus and over 10 years of clinical practice to Aeon where she uses a combination of lab testing, counselling, nutrition, supplements, herbs and medications to fully optimize health!

Justin Slimm

Business Development Manager
Justin is a health and fitness fanatic, who has spent a majority of his adult life focused on optimizing performance. Whether that was to excel has a high level hockey referee, to be extra sharp at work, or to have lots of energy to play with his kids, he is constantly looking into the latest data and trends to give him the edge.

However, it wasn’t always this way. In college (where he studied to be a journalist), he was actually overweight, depressed and lacking any motivation to do anything. When he started to realize that refereeing in the NHL might be a possibility, he did everything possible to get into good shape. After hiring a coach, changing his mindset and dialing in his sleep, he ended up losing 70 pounds in one year.

That started Justin on a path to helping others. He spent the past 10 years as a personal trainer and more recently, a nutrition coach. He’s now combining that and his experience as a local journalist/marketer in his current role with Aeon to help people achieve health goals they might once have thought impossible!

Kaitlynn Poworoznyk

Calgary Clinic Manager
For Kaitlynn, health optimization is a passion that recently developed due to medical complications that surfaced in her early years of adulthood. In an effort to regain her youthful vitality, she found the results she was looking for in the form of a complete lifestyle change. Now with her health as a priority, Kaitlynn is able to resume the fun-loving part of life while continuing to pursue top physical and mental performance.

Kaitlynn graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  Combined with her personal experience and passion for creating connections with people, she strives to help others create time for their personal health as Aeon’s Customer Care Coordinator.

Julia MacPhee

Lead Nutrition Coach
Julia is a Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultant (C.H.N.C.), a certified fitness trainer, and Precision Nutrition Coach (Pn1). She specializes in habits-based coaching; helping people take simple, sustainable actions towards their wellness goal and has a strong desire to share her health optimization passion with others. When she is not busy helping clients, she is a proud mom of two teenage boys and is committed to keeping them happy, active, and healthy.
Julia graduated from the Canadian School for Natural Nutrition with a Diploma in Holistic Nutrition. Prior to discovering her true passion in health she graduated with a Diploma in Biotechnological Engineering (BTech.) and pursued a professional career in areas of the environment, within the energy industry.

Vanessa Robillard

Lead Fitness Coach
Vanessa is an experienced certified Pro Trainer and Kickboxing instructor. She holds a degree in Leisure Sciences with a minor in Recreation Management, as well as Creative Arts degree.

Vanessa has been in athletics since she was 5 years old and has spent over a decade as a competitive athlete; she knows how much dedication, training and discipline it takes to achieve your goals. Drawing from her years of training, athletic experiences, and understanding of sports conditioning, she has now found herself giving guidance to others through fitness and health coaching, as well as motivating and inspiring others to strive towards their goals and surpass them. Having worked with children, athletes, and seniors (eldest client is 100!) Vanessa has the experience to tailor training to make it appropriate and effective for each individual.
Making her an exceptional trainer and coach. 

Attaining balance in all aspects of her life is highly important to Vanessa and she truly believes that this balance will come with the right mindset and guidance.
